Congratulations to Rotary Student of the Week – Jessica Chavez.  She was chosen for this Rotary honor by the English Department.
 
Congratulations to Jill Brichacek for placing 1st in the high jump at the Columbus Scotus Knights of Columbus track meet yesterday.
 
Congratulations to the following boys for placing at the Columbus Scotus Knights of Columbus track meet yesterday.  Joel Carrillo 4th place in the 2 mile, Cody Zrust 5th place in the 2 mile, Cole Beebe 6th place in the 2 mile, Carlos Tena 4th place in the 800 meter run, Brennen Settles 5th place in the 300 intermediate hurdles, 3200 meter relay (Carlos Tena, Cody Zrust, Cole Beebe, Joel Carrillo) 1st place, 4X400 meter relay (Josh Pflasterer, Carlos Tena, Connor Beebe, Brennen Settles) 6th place.
 
Any one on the All A Honor Roll who did not get their cinnamon roll this morning please stop by Mrs. Mentzer's room today.
 
Congratulations to Brenna Parry, Janet Contreras, and Matt Eller who were recognized by the Nebraska State Activities Association.  Brenna received 1st place in Entertainment Writing, Janet 2nd in News Writing and Matt 3rd in Editorial Writing in the State Journalism preliminaries. Brenna and Janet will compete in the state finals May 12. Way to go Warrior Beat staff!
 
SPRING SING is coming up May 6th.  What is that?  It's our annual SCHS talent show!  If you are in a band, can dance, sing, play the piano or other instrument, tell jokes, pretty much any talent you possess....SHARE IT!  Sign up sheet is outside of the music room.  SPRING SING is open to ALL SCHS students.  Questions?  See Mrs. Bywater
 
Students need to check the Date Due in their library books and either renew or return them because Past Due Notices will be handed out at Parent Teacher ConferencesSeniors, all of your library materials must be returned or paid for by April 30.  If you have a long, lost overdue book, today would be a good time to look for it.
 
Students – Do you check your lunch account balance in Infinite Campus on your iPad?  It is important to keep current on your account and take care of balances in the minus category ASAP.  Today there are 88 of you who are in a minus category!
 
Prom Picture Packets are available at "Prom Headquarters."  JUNIORS - Oak Ballroom MONDAY 9:00 A.M. to decorate!!!  Juniors:  Check the dues list by Ms. Zrust's room (16)!!!  Some of you have paid for post-prom but have NOT paid ALL of your class dues!
           
            Only FIVE DAYS left to purchase a Warrior yearbook for this school year!  $55 by April 25th - See Ms. Hasenkamp if interested.
 
Cheerleading Blitz Night - TODAY at 6:00 p.m. Meet in Mrs. Thumann's room.
 
Seniors – Do you plan to speak at graduation?  Pick up a form on the wall by the principals’ office.  Your ready-to-read draft must be turned in to Mr. Pavlik by April 25.
            Keep bringing your written proofs of scholarship awards to Mrs. Marking.  Check Infinite Campus to see if you owe fines.  Also get your Jostens bills paid by credit card or money order.  (Pay Jostens directly; the office has a list if you have forgotten how much you owe.)  Remember, seniors can’t check out until all fines are paid.
 
National Honor Society and Science and Math Club: The field trip is scheduled for April 30.  We are going to the Missouri National Recreational River in Yankton, SD. Members who want to go are asked to stop by Mrs. Mentzer's or Mr. Sayer's rooms to sigh up THIS WEEK.
 
Volleyball girls remember to sign up for league and camps in Coach Wickham's room!
American Legion Baseball players – There are still 9 of you who have forms in the office.  Practice tonight at 6:30 PM.
 
The Colfax Theatre is showing “Noah” this Friday and Saturday.  No movie shown on Easter.  Remember every Friday five tickets are drawn for free admission to the next Friday’s movie.
