Congratulations to the Rotary Student of the Week – Claudia Millan.  Claudia was chosen for this Rotary honor by the English Department.
 
Congratulations to the following girls for placing at the Wahoo JV meet yesterday.  Jamie Robles earned 2nd place in the 2-mile run and 2nd place in the 1-mile run.  Brenna Parry placed 5th in the shot put and Monica Gonzalez 3rd in the long jump.
 
Congratulations to the following boys for placing at the Wahoo JV meet yesterday.  Cristian Galvan 3rd in the triple jump and 3rd in the 200-meter dash; Erik Tena 4th in the triple jump and 2nd in the 400-meter dash; Zach Parsons 6th in the 100-meter dash and 4th in the 400-meter dash.  Layne Petersen 4th in the long jump; Yaasir Arizmendi 6th in the 1 mile; 4X800 relay (Yaasir Arizmendi, Nuradin Abdi, Eduardo Guzman, and Layne Petersen) 3rd place; 4X400 relay team of (Erik Tena, Cristian Galvan, Eduardo Guzman, Zach Parsons) 2nd place; and 4X100 relay team of (Erik Tena, Eduardo Guzman, Zach Parsons, Cristian Galvan) 1st place.
 
Congratulation to the New FFA officers for 2014-15 – President, David Svoboda; Vice President, Josh Pflasterer; Secretary Jen Novak; Treasurer - Kim Avina; Reporter- Matt Eller; Sentinel - Ray Roman; and Parliamentarian - Mylissa Krupka.
 
Congratulations to Connor Flynn who medaled at yesterdays Boone Central Invitational Golf Meet placing 14th overall.

Project "S"/Serteen Member Please check your school email.  We need volunteers for two events tomorrow!  
 
SPRING SING, our annual SCHS talent show is coming up May 6th.  If you are in a band, can dance, sing, play the piano or other instrument, tell jokes, SHARE IT!  Sign up sheet is outside of the music room.  Questions?  See Mrs. Bywater.
 
SENIORS - Jostens will be here on Thursday AM.  If you owe money to Jostens for graduation items, you can bring a money order to the office before Thursday morning.  The office has a list of seniors who still have a balance due.
Seniors – Do you plan to speak at graduation?  Pick up a form on the wall by the principals’ office.  Your ready-to-read draft must be turned in to Mr. Pavlik by FRIDAY.
         Seniors: Tickets will be on sale for the senior dinner next week, April 28 - May 2.  Meal cost is $7.50 for one hamburger, chips, potato salad, and drink.  If you would like a second hamburger with your meal, the cost is $9.50.  Join in with your class to eat, make memories, and watch the unveiling of the 2014 Senior Slideshow!!!  Tickets can be purchased with Ms. Hasenkamp (room 9).
            Seniors - You are able to request your final transcript at any time. You need to log into Parchment.com and request your transcript to the college of your choice and select  “Next Grading Period.”  This includes your request for NAIA or NCAA final transcripts.   After you Graduate there will be a $3.25 fee for any request!  
           
Prom Picture Packets are available at "Prom Headquarters."  Juniors:  Check the dues list by Ms. Zrust's room (16)!!!  Some of you have paid for post-prom but have NOT paid ALL of your class dues!
 
FCCLA end of the year banquet forms are out and on the board!  The meal is $10 per person.  Get money to Mrs. Breedlove ASAP.
FCCLA Zoo permission slips and $7 are due on Friday.  NO EXCEPTIONS! 
 
VOLLEYBALL MEETING FRIDAY April 25th, 7:15am in Coach Wickham's room #36.
 
Boys Basketball: All current 8th-11th graders playing basketball next season need to attend a very important meeting Friday, April 25th @1:45 in Coach Hall's room at Schuyler Middle School.  We will be handing out camp forms, skill session info, and summer league info.  Please see Coach Turner if you can't attend.  
           
Only TWO DAYS left to purchase a Warrior yearbook for this school year!  $55 by April 25th.

Students can pick up forms for detasseling from Mr. Wemhoff.  They need to be turned in by 2:00 pm, Friday April 25th.  No late applications accepted.  Be sure to bring two forms of ID when turning in application so individual’s paperwork can be signed.  After all applications are turned in, forty applicants will be chosen; others will be placed on a waiting list.  If any employee misses a day of work, he/she will be dismissed and a person on the waiting list will be called. Make sure all phone numbers are current. 
 
Help needed at the Colfax Theatre this coming Saturday and Sunday.  If you could volunteer, see Mrs. Jakub in the Superintendent’s office.
 
Are You Looking for a Job?  The St. Benedict Retreat Center is looking for someone to work in the kitchen.  Applicant must have a driver’s license, be responsible, committed, and able to work a flexible schedule.  Call 402-352-8819, #353 for more information.  If no answer, leave a message.
